Chartered Financial Planners Status

In order to qualify for Chartered Financial Planners status, firms must meet and continue to meet strict eligibility criteria.

As a Chartered Financial Planner firm we must ensure staff members acquire and retain the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality advice. We must also work in an ethical manner that places clients’ interests at the heart of the advice we give.

Granted by the Privy Council, the Chartered title gives financial planning firms parity with other professionals, such as accountants and solicitors. With only a small proportion of firms being ‘Chartered Financial Planners’, it remains an exclusive and valuable distinction.
